Jab number 3
So now the test jabs have been given and we are here for the first of the 'normal' ones I suppose, which will go on for the next two years at least, and hopefully longer.
Angie has brought me here with moral support but as they have just given me a stonking dose of steroids, she may be the one needing support by the end of tomorrow, as they make me irritatingly bouncy and talkative.
The principle of this drug is a kind of 'lock and key ' link between the cancer and my antibodies. Google says:
Elranatamab is a bispecific antibody comprised of humanized anti-BCMA and anti-CD3-epsilon targeting arms paired on an IgG2a backbone with nullified Fc binding function, which leads to a longer half-life. Elranatamab binds to both BCMA-expressing MM cells and T cells, effectively creating a bridge between them.
So the bottom line is that my first remission, which is not usually your only one but is usually your best, should be extended by Elranatamab. And whatever else is happening, I certainly feel fit as a fiddle and very cheerful. And I know that fate may have a runaway dustbin wagon or bolt of lightning waiting for me in reserve, but for now, life looks very sweet. And I'm a happy man.

So glad to hear you're in a good place and living in the happy Now...🌈🌅
